It’s the day in 1862 Battle of Puebla, when Mexican Indian soldiers defeated the invading French forces of Napoleon III…

It’s more a day to celebrate  accomplishing & overcoming! The Mexicans on this day made a valiant stand and won a battle against all logic.

Next Saturday April 7th, 2012 from 11am-2pm down at The Manifest we are going doggie style. What better way to have an art show to help bring the needed donations and volunteer call for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (OSPCA)! Woof!

Manifest Café will have open house of Ospca dogs and people alike.  Come donate or sign up to volunteer. Art show Sponsors: Printing donated by Mighty Printing, Photographs donated by Aaron Yoshino, and Design & Installation by Shana Yoshinaga.

O’ahu SPCA rescues, rehabilitates, and re-homes more than 100 animals each month. They are in need for simple supplies from: nails, hammers, paper towels, disinfecting wipes, commercial mops/buckets, to office supplies.

Click here for their wish list to bring next Saturday, or if you are interested in signing up to be a volunteer come on down!
