Congratulations Paul’s Hat on securing their place in Manifest’s Stump! trivia history. Good work fellas. Stump Trivia, each and every Tuesday at 6pm. Bring a team of no more than 6 people and compete to see which team knows most about trivial pursuits.

Meaningful events are what makes the world go round and round. It’s a lot to take in, i definitely had ‘waterfall’ moments on both occasions so if you missed out, you missed out. Photo page has been updated with the REHAB’s art show, “How has art changed your life?”, which was truly touching. I had a surprise that brought me to tears. Then that same week son’s of Hawaii, KLUV BIG MOX PRIE PROLIFIC UNKNOWNS, were f’n boogin’. So without further adieu, photos by Daniel Brown, click here.
I have to admit at first i was hesitant to participate, but now the only way i can explain it is exciting. Get more value for your hard earned money and get groupON’d.

Manifest and the REHAB Hospital are doing their first ever art show and from first glances (while the boys and girls are on break), its going to be the first of its kind with i’m sure more to follow. The REHAB hospital isn’t a recovering sort of place but a center where people who suffered strokes, massive trauma, or the recovering from loss of working body parts have their own art program and for the first time ever will be debuting their art in the hall of the Manifest. Artist meet and greets will be taking place this Thursday, May 19th from 6pm – 8:30pm, so please come on by. Something also to keep in mind that %100 of the proceeds for the event goes to the REHAB Hospital on Kuakini. *Art program presented proudly by Louis Vuitton
Its incredibly touching when I see happy beautiful fun loving people roughing it out not 1, but 2 nights in a row. With Cinco de Mayo falling on the Thursday before First Friday, i thought with bad weather would be a dubious turnout, but y’all proved me wrong and enjoyed Chinatown in spades. These photos go to you, the spirit of the fun lover.
Click here for da kine, first week of may pichas.

Tonight is “Stump!”, our weekly Trivia Tuesday with renown trivia expert and host Adrienne LaFrance.
Wednesday is the “Get Right” with dance-time-party veteran DJ’s Delve and Nocturnal’s Compose. HipHop, Dance, and knockin’ boots jams every Wednesday. Keep an eye on this one because you’re gonna one day say, man I miss the days when the Get Right was just a few people – this is the night when Ctown gets down.
This Thursday is Cinco de Mayo, the street celebration and then First Friday….need i say more?
Something that i am very excited about is our next art installation and it comes with a brief story. I had a close friend become seriously injured in a car accident. Fortunately she survived but was left without the use of legs and this is where the REHAB hospital on Kuakini (located in Honolulu) help empower her life and also shaped the way I look at the world around me. I no longer complain if i’m tired from walking across town, i’m sure there isn’t a day that goes by for someone in a wheelchair who wishes they could experience that once more. Next month the Manifest will be featuring REHAB hospital’s artist, I urge you all to come and check it out. Artist meet and greets will be taking place on May 19th at 6pm.
