The Manifest Man Challenge
The Manifest Man Challenge – A Stand Against Testicular Cancer, was simple, every male who participated donated $15 dollars and pledged to NOT shave for the entire month of November. The fraternity consisted of 62 members, ranging from 21 to 55 years of age, and raised proceeds close to $1,000. “Proceeds will benefit the American Cancer Society and their efforts to help everyone Stay Well, Get Well, Find Cures and Fight Back“. Creator, Brandon Reid said, “The Idea of the Man Challenge was to create a non-conventional yet inclusive fundraiser that would be fun and viral… it’s for a good cause and didn’t request much.”… And non-conventional was it, the charity kicked off with beer specials, models and flannel. A Big Mahalo to HEYDAY Graphics for the awesome Press Wall, that helped achieve the “brawny-man-like” photo shoot (accessories included, the Manifest flannel jacket, a prop axe, with two very attractive models). The winner also received a “Gentlemenification” certificate donated from the RyanJacobie Salon. Cheers to all the manly-men for participating in the First Annual Manifest Man Challenge – A Stand Against Testicular Cancer. Mahalos!
