Perhaps instead of early 2000s indie/emo/electronic via pandora, listeners would be better rewarded if the bar followed a genre or artist more strictly for the night. I mean the trivia is only 2-3 hours, so you could jam a range of genres/artists, as long as it's not getting all mixed up (e.g. shoegaze night, stoner metal night, hot country night, post punk night, prog night, phil collins night). And with all new things(specifically speaking about Stump!), only recently have we noticed a spike in popularity, so i plead that our MF enthusiasts be patient as we're figuring out how better to serve everyone. As for the selection in music, it is hard to please all, but if you have a certain genre of music you think would better serve the evening, a suggestion rather than an opinionated complaint would better give me an idea of what would be better pleasing for the crowd.
