These guys seem to know their trivia, but I’m not sure why they had to have extra members when they won a week later. They kept telling other teams that they the extra members on the team weren’t helping, but everyone saw them contribute.

Rayjay’s comments must be a joke. Who cares if a team has 2-3 extra members? The trivia is all about hanging out with your friends, listening to Manifest’s radical music, and having fun. Enough sour grapes doo-doo brain!

I don’t like Manifest’s music selection. It might have been interesting about ten years ago, but now it just feel like yuppie rock. “Winner” was probably one of those extra members on the team. Whatever! I’m going to get wasted.

Yeah, maybe we had some extra ladies sitting with us tonight, but that was only because they were there to have a threesome with me after the quiz. That’s right, baby! Folks! Let me first start by saying that i am so pleased you are all taking such an interest in our newest event, Stump! Trivia. While Rome was not built in a week, the Manifest has yet make a year old. And with all new things(specifically speaking about Stump!), only recently have we noticed a spike in popularity, so i plead that our MF enthusiasts be patient as we’re figuring out how better to serve everyone.

As for the selection in music, it is hard to please all, but if you have a certain genre of music you think would better serve the evening, a suggestion rather than an opinionated complaint would better give me an idea of what would be better pleasing for the crowd. Personally, I heard some Nirvana in that Pandora playlist and anyone who has a problem with Nirvana might not like a lot of things, but it is definitely not about what I like, but what you folks like…so i am all ears.

In the end I hope the people have fun and enjoy the company of their friends while having a drink and an experience they most likely won’t get anywhere else on the island.

Hey, thanks for the response. I’m sorry if I laid it down a bit harsh on the music selection–I was unawares the bar had pandora working for it tonight. Honestly, anyone who has a problem with Nirvana has a problem with me. Perhaps instead of early 2000s indie/emo/electronic via pandora, listeners would be better rewarded if the bar followed a genre or artist more strictly for the night. I mean the trivia is only 2-3 hours, so you could jam a range of genres/artists, as long as it’s not getting all mixed up (e.g. shoegaze night, stoner metal night, hot country night, post punk night, prog night, phil collins night). Really, I think people are fine with anything but the Shins.

There’s nothing worse than waking up to learn that someone is making Phil Collins music recommendations. Ignore Rayjay. He’s a loser. The music is fine, especially the electronic beats.

Rayjay! I can hear your silence, which is paradoxical so it’s driving me crazy. What are you going to do, Rayjay? Bust out some hard core music knowledge on us? Phil Collins? Are you going underground with your Phil Collins greatest hits? Su-su-studio ’till your face burns off!

Rayjay, I challenge you to an ultimate trivia/drink off next week! I’ve already had the trophy, now lets make it interesting. What I propose, you jobless jerk, is that you and I break off from our teams and go one on one. Top score wins! Except here’s the catch. Every shot we drink adds another five points. Highest total score by 10pm wins it all. Loser has to pay for the shots. Are you down, Rayjay?
