Fundraiser/Star Wars Theme Party

“A long time ago from a galaxy far, far away”… There was a call to humanity, the question being, “how can we help?”, the answer: A Star Wars costume theme party/fundraiser. Space series phenomenon, Star Wars, was released on May 25, 1977, just about 33 years ago. Being the most appropriate homage, The Manifest is sponsoring the anniversary/fundraiser. The fundraiser will help fund two UH graduate students, John Sweeney and Scott Yim, to embark their new journey this summer to Singularity University. “Singularity University (SU) is an interdisciplinary university whose mission is to assemble, educate and inspire a cadre of leaders who strive to understand and facilitate the development of exponentially advancing technologies in order to address humanity’s grand challenges”. The festivities will kick-off around 8:00pm, pupus, DJ Justin Stein, speciality cocktails (try the Vader-Ade), Star Wars Trivia, best-costume wins a Manifest gift certificate. Help support these local boys, every bit helps… and of course to celebrate the 33rd Anniversary of Star Wars, only here at The Manifest.
