3rd Annual Gingerbread House Construction Project
This is our 3rd time doing this. It really all started with wanting to have fun with crafts which later grew into a holiday staple of Manifest, which we now extend to you! 
Thursday Dec. 22nd from 7pm – 10pm
I don’t want to make it a contest anymore but we will give the best house, voted by *the people*, a gift certificate to Manifest, but what we would really wish for this Christmas is a fun turnout. Come by with family and friends who are 21 and over. If you want to participate it’ll be a $15 entry fee and all contesting teams will have from 7pm to 10pm to complete their house.

3rd Annual Gingerbread Design Project
Next Thursday, December 22nd from 7pm to 10pm.
We’re looking for 10 teams to go heads up on the best designed gingerbread house. Make a team of 4 friends or if you can stand em’ 4 relatives or whoever!
There are *LIMITED ENTRIES, so R.S.V.P. is required. Sign up at Manifest w/ entry fee required.*
Rules:
You have from 7pm to 10pm to design your Gingerbread house. Use anything you want to design the house. We provide the kit but it’s up to YOU and your team to make it stand out.
Teams:
4 people maximum
Judging:
It will be based on public opinion at 10pmish on which one they like the most.
Entry: $15.00
We will provide the Gingerbread Kit but it’s up to you to design it. Using anything you want as long as it’s completed by 10pm.
**ANY USE OF PYROTECHIQUES will result as an automatic disqualification.** So don’t fuck around and make us throw you out.

FF: December “Countdown to a new beginning”
If you were here, you were smiling and boy did it look good. First Friday pictures, courtesy of Ramsey, from one week ago today and they’re still dripping with freshness. Manifest Man Challenge
Did you notice a recently alarming number of men with facial hair this past month? The good-looking men of Honolulu were participant brothers in this year Manifest Man Challenge. A fraternity of 70 men from all different backgrounds each pledged $15 dollars and surrendered their razor blades to their mirror cabinets for a full month, from November 1st to December 1st, all in the name of standing against men’s health issues, namely testicular cancer.
To raise the stakes, this year we added a grip of MAN-ly sponsors such as Montgomery Motors, In4mation, Apartment3, Mojo Barbershop, Hawaii Theatre, TOMS Shoes, JJ Dolans, and Ryan Jacobie Hair Salon to throw down guy swag for the cause. To increase the broham among the brothers, weekly Frat-Meetings with social lubricants like Captain Morgan and Sierra Nevada Tumbler on special.
The month long challenge concluded on a high note with the fraternity raising $1400 for the American Cancer Society, an almost %75 increase from last years donation. A celebration was held and our newest “Best in Show” was announced, supreme finalist George Banks. Drinks, raffles, live music by Narwhal, and burlyness was to be had by all. The beautiful Morganettes were present bestowing eye patches on all who attended this wonderful evening and yet, we saved the best for last. Vacations Hawaii (boydvacationshawaii.com) donated a Las Vegas Package trip for 2 and pledge brother Brendan Fisher, who attended almost every Frat-Meeting, won and will be partying it up on behalf the Man Challenge. Money was raised, fun had been had, friendships have been brohamd, and the fraternity lives on…do you have what it takes to pledge in 2012?

From Nov.1st – Dec.1st, Manifest is hosting it’s annual facial hair growing competition. This year we will be recognizing the Best in Show and hold a raffle. Here’s how to play.
On November 1st : the PLEDGE
On this day come to Manifest with your face shaven clean, donate $15, and pledge to NOT SHAVE for the entire month. A Fuji Instax photo will be taken of your face and will be posted on the Wall of Pledges for all to see. With your pledge, you are entered into a raffle for a trip for 2 to Las Vegas courtesy of Vacations Hawaii.
On November 3rd, 10th, the 17th: FRAT MEETINGS
Every Thursday(except the 24th/Thanksgiving) in November, from 4pm – 6pm, all fraternity members are welcomed to participate in a happy-hour, only available to pledges. $3 Sierra Nevada & $4 Captain Morgan will be availble but here’s the most IMPORTANT purpose of the Frat Meeting. For every meeting a fraternity member attends, that member gets another raffle ticket entered to win the trip Las Vegas.
December 1st: Man Up party
This is the end and we’re throwing a party just for you, and ladies don’t be discouraged. We here at the committee of the Manifest Man Challenge know all too well that you too have sacrificed and we will have *mustaches to hand out to everyone and that includes the ladies. A panel of judges will determine who is this years “Best in Show”, the man who has the best amount of facial hair after a month. We will also be announcing the winner of the trip to Vegas…but wait, theres MORE! A photo booth area with the Morganettes will be available, so if ever you have a son and he asks himself, “I wonder what my dad was like I he was my age?” There ya go.
